S5200G TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
ACCELERATE PRODUCTION WITH THE S5200G
DUAL-SIDED MONOCHROME OR FULL-COLOR PRINTING
S5200G is a professional card printer specifically designed for high speed monochrome
printing, with optional full color printing capabilities, making it easy and
affordable to print photos, logos, barcodes or near edge-to-edge card designs.

SPECIFICATIONS :

With a print resolution of 300 dpi and the AdvanceClean® card cleaning system,
which combines a cleaning tape and a cleaning roller, the S5200G ensures that
cards are free from dust and debris to maximise the lifetime of the print head,
and provides superior print quality. To enhance its flexibility, the S5200G offers
a flip-over module to enable dual-side card printing.
HIGH SPEED THERMAL PRINTER
Matica’s latest graphic printing engine, is a considerable leap forward in providing
unsurpassed performance when compared to competitors’ solutions, and allows
nearly to double speed when compared to the previous version.
The S1 engine is designed and built in-house by Matica, who developed its many
features through years of industry experience and solution development.
MAGNETIC STRIPE ENCODING
An ISO standard magnetic stripe encoding module (HiCo/LoCo with tracks 1, 2
and 3) is a standard feature on the S5200G.
EMV SMART CARD PERSONALIZATION
The S5200G can incorporate a single smart chip contact station to personalize
EMV financial smart cards, as well as many other types of smart cards.
RFID CARD PERSONALIZATION
The S5200G can incorporate an RFID MIFARE Reader to read or encode many contactless
card types.
HIGH PRINTING AUTONOMY & USER FRIENDLY INTERFACE
High capacity input and output hoppers, as well as special high capacity ribbons,
reduce operator intervention for card and ribbon replacement during high volume
printing applications. Also, MaticardPro, our Windows-based card design
software, provides an efficient and user-friendly interface between the operator
and the printer.
